What’s up my Wednesday party people?! I know what. The damn temps around these parts.
And I still refuse to turn on the AC in my car. I think I have only used it to and from Alabamy..and that was because it was highway driving for 16 out of the 18 hours it took to get there. Give me a sweaty hot breeze over cold air any day.
And I’m back to join the hundreds of my other food photo fanatic friends for another installment of What I Ate Wednesday!
…and I added an extra spin on things simply because most of my meals and snacks involved consuming them with a spoon…or my hands. Go figure. Biogenetic Engineering kinda stuff I’m telling you.
Breakfast was a yogurt parfait in an unattractive tupperware. All my prettymuchmadeforparfaits mason jars were occupied or waiting to be bathed in the dishwasher so there ya go. Plain Greek yogurt + raspberries + Uncle Sam’s Supergrain cereal + Chia seeds + cinnamon. Oh yeah, and a spoon.
I already broke my own rule since lunch was eaten with a fork. If I was at one of the elementary schools I could have gotten away with it by using a spork. Did your school have those? They’re probably as useful as a wet noodle at actually picking anything up as a fork so let’s be thankful I didn’t have to eat my salad and tuna with one.
Can you believe I actually snapped a picture of lunch before I half demolished it?! I just might be starting to get the hang of this food picture thing….Besides the apple that I ate. With my hands.
Afternoon snack was the rest of some cottage cheese. Eaten straight out of the container like the classy young woman I am. I was really just thinking of Motha Earth and saving one less dish to wash. Except my spoon.
Since using any appliance other than the fridge to prepare dinner would result in a shower of sweat after I already took a shower, I settled on some spoonage of my leftover red curry lentils with a dollop of Greek yogurt and steamed snap peas straight out of the fridge dipped in Dijon mustard. They’re just like french fries!
Just kidding. Snap peas are absolutely nothing like french fries. They were damn tasty though. As was this apple.
BOTH EATEN WITH MY HANDS.
Ending with a mother fudgin’ nightcap of some of my freezer fudge. Melts in your mouth….and your hands so eat up quick suckas.
And there you have a day of hand to spoon action known as my WIAW eats. Somehow I think Amanda might approve of my spoonage.
I’ll spoon you later. Now that one deserves a hand. Sometimes I just have to hand it to myself…
And so does Jenn for hosting!
Make it a great day!
Eating with spoons or hands?
Ever tried (and failed miserably) eating with a spork?
