And happy hump day! This week is dragging by for me, but at least we’re halfway there…and living on a prayer.
And my WIAW prayers were answered. It must be all that Christmas spirit beaming from my window.
Please note the pumpkin photobombing this Christmas photo. I don’t have the heart to throw him away to the island of misfit pumpkins.
Thanks to daylight savings time, and not a speck of sunshine at 7 AM, I was able to take this professional quality breakfast picture.
The usual suspects were present for lunch. Salad with tuna, avocado, and horseradish mustard. The rate at which I go through mustard is both admirable, and embarrassing.
Alongside an orange and some Brazil nuts for my daily selenium!
My afternoon slump was cured by an extra strong cup of green tea, and a new to me snack.
Some almonds and more Brazil nuts in my trusty portion tin from California Almonds at Blog Brulee, and a Wild Zora Lamb, Rosemary, & Spinach Bar.
I got a sample pack of Wild Zora bars with my WellCoin points, and have to say I was a bit skeptical if I would like them. Especially the lamb one. Turns out, it’s my favorite one so far!
And my salad and mustard obsession continues…
This time with chicken, and some fresh baked pumpkin! Unfortunately, my photobombing pumpkin’s friend had to be sacrificed. YES, you can cook Jack O’ lantern pumpkins! They’re a little like spaghetti squash, but without a whole lot of flavor. No food waste for me.
Then it was off for my first real ice skating escapade.
I only fell once, and lost only about a quarter of my dignity. I can’t wait to do it again! Especially when the booze hut is open, and I kiss my entire dignity goodbye.
Make it a great day!
Have you ever been ice skating?
Are you decorated for the holidays yet?
