Hello my Wednesday party people!
We got some snow up in here, so I am currently procrastinating digging my car out of a snow bank with an ice scraper as much as possible.
So let’s talk about food!
Now that’s been almost a year since being vegetarian, I’m finally getting over my OMG I have so much more I can eat! phase, and slowly leaning towards more plant-based meals again.
1 scoop protein powder ( I use MyProtein) // 1 scoop MyProtein Nutrigreens // 1/2 avocado // 1 tablespoon chia seeds // clementine
But by no means am I swearing off meat anytime soon. My love affair with chicken fajitas are still going strong. I am however, (still) trying to patch things up with quinoa (read: Confessions of a Dietitian)
2 cups kale // 3/4 cup quinoa // 1/2 tablespoon olive oil // 1 tablespoon red wine vinegar // fried egg // 1/4 avocado // clementine
So most of my days end up being mostly vegetarian, (aside from my regular tuna salad lunch rotation) until dinnertime.
5 minute homemade hummus // baby carrots
And nothing fuels a chilly walk back from some nutrition classes quite like chocolate with a view.

I could never do raw ’til 4 (because..eggs) or vegan ’til 4 (again…EGGS), but I’ll settle for veg ’til 4.
baked chicken breast // steamed green beans // 1/2 sweet potato with almond butter
Thanks for hosting Jenn!
Make it a great day!
What do you find yourself eating the most of during the day?
Would you rather eat a snow cone in a blizzard, or hot soup in a desert?
