    WIAW: Is this real life?

May 17, 2017 by Emily Cooper 5 Comments

    Hiya friends!

Good golly miss Molly, I can't believe it's not butter that it is finally feeling like SUMMER not spring, the sun is shining, and I'm sweating my it's-not-acceptable-to-wear-shorts-at-work-yet buns off. Is this real life right meow?

I don't know, and I don't care. Just call me BK, cuz I'm lovin' it.

    What I Ate Wednesday Logo

Plus, it's time for my favorite Wednesday at 6AM activity...showing anyone who cares to see err'thang I ate. The world we live in...

    Smoothie Bowl Banana

A smoothie bowl that kinda looks like a big bowl of mustard with toppings. Somehow, I feel like that's not such a far stretch for me...

A frozen banana, cauli, and b-nut with coconut milk and turmeric base topped with lotsa cinnamon, oats, pumpkin seeds, and a glob of homemade sunbutter.

After a hiatus, me and my salmon patties are exclusive again.

    Mixed Veggies and Salmon

I'm doing this sick game, where I see if I can make it through another week without grocery shopping. Since I'll be traveling this weekend, I hate having a fridge full of food when I'm not there. I know, it's weird.

Luckily I have cans on cans of salmon in my pantry to make up for lost times. P.S, doesn't that glob of mustard kinda look like a pretzel? It knows how it's soulmate is.

Rounded out with some fresh bloobs with unsweetened coconut milk (from the carton not can) and pumpkin seeds. I'm crazy about texture and dippage. Every meal has to have at least one of them going on.

    Bowl of blueberries

Just out here living the American dream. Sunshine. Baseball. And Sea (Dog) Biscuits.

    Sea Dog Biscuit Ice Cream

I now know what heaven dipped in sugar and baked in the oven tastes like.

I tagged along with my roomie to the Sea Dog's baseball game for a work event. Free food and sun time? Twist my arm...

    Veggie and pulled chicken

Round one was some BBQ pulled chicken (delicious) plus some veggies to get at least some good stuff in there. Practice + Preach.

    Fries and burger

I was so in the mood for a burger and fries. The burger ended up being cold, so I just ate the fries...but the real reason was to save room for dat ice cream. Life is all about priorities.

    Make it a great day!

    Team texture or team dippage?

    Burger or ice cream?

There's just something about blueberries and milk I love. It's like fruit cereal! 🙂

[…] stepping out of my comfort zone today. I’m doing that whole food torturing thing I mentioned last Wednesday again this week, which means canned fish is my BBFL IRL yet […]
