One for the money. Two for the show. Three to get ready. And four to HUMPPPP DAYYYYYY!!!
Someone’s gotta keep things modest around here.
..But not today because it’s the award ceremony of eating that just so happens to take place at the same time every week.
The changing of the seasons always signals the changing of my tastebuds. Smoothies are coming few and far between, while oatmeal is making it’s regular appearance on the breakfast front more often.
Which is good. Cuz I like liking oatmeal. This time cooked oats mixed with 1/2 scoop vanilla protein powder, 1/2 cup greek yogurt, 1/2 banana, peanut butter and cheerios. Banana and cheerios and seriously a power couple.
After a busy morning of examining snap peas, teaching about manners, and finding out that green beans smell like the ocean (according to a 5 year old), I was ready to fill my face with something other than raw veggies.
With the cold-weather salad! Some leftover sausage, black-eyed pea, and kale soup a la the man friend, a far too under-ripe apple, and a can o’ seltzer to impregnate me with a water baby for the rest of the afternoon.
After day numero 15 on my 30 Day Yoga Camp, I zenned my way downstairs for dinner and an extra serving of sudoku puzzles.
Along with her rabbit dessert habits.
Make it a great day!
