WIAW: Liquid Dreams

April 29, 2015 by Emily Cooper 3 Comments

I hope some of you out there get my O-Town reference in today’s title. And you best believe I jammed out and watched the unforgivable music video while writing this post.

Okay let’s talk about food now that the thought of what that song really meant sinks in.

Breakfast

pumpkin smoothie.PNGI still be on that smoothie grind, but kicked it with a fall flashback. None other than PUMPKIN!!…and some other cool stuff.

1 cup unsweetened almond milk // 2 scoops Jarrow plant protein powder // 1 tablespoon chia seeds // 1 tablespoon flax seeds // 1/4 avocado // 1 tablespoon sun butter // 1/4 cup pumpkin // 1 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice

Lunch

IMG_0554.JPGAnd why dirty a blender for one meal when you can make two?! Breakfast on repeat. It’s seriously like liquid pie, so I had no problem chugging two glasses a day…for the past two days.

Snack

lentil soup.PNGOn top of coffee, two smoothies, and a good 6 cups of water, I decided I needed to make 126 trips to the bathroom today instead of the usual 120 by adding in some lentil soup for a snack.

I was a bit hungry before the dinner bell tolled, so I snacked on a granny  (not grammy. She just makes good food) while stalking the members of O-Town to see where they were now. I’m thinking a come back tour with West Life and 2ge+her is in the works for 2016. 😉

Dinner

peanut soup.PNG

Okay, looking at this African Peanut Stew makes me want a giant pot all to myself. Unfortunately it’s not exactly what I had for dinner, but it was the closest soup pic I had in my arsenal. Instead, I enjoyed a lovely pea soup and tomato salad dinner with Grammy & Jim, social media and technology free. I forgot how it feels to sit down to a real meal, instead of shoveled down out of tupperware at the kitchen counter. And I love every minute of it.

Thanks again to Jenn & friends for hosting!

Make it a great day!

Where do you usually eat dinner?
