Gooooooood Morning Gorgeous!
Did you hear it’s Wednesday already?! I love the smell of mid-week in the morning.
And the taste of WIAW!
I did add a scoop of plain pea protein powder for some extra staying power, which required an excessive amount of added almond milk and cinnamon to disguise. I can’t get down with the pea.
In between meetings, I snuck in some food-age and bever-age……just kidding that’s actually a real word.
Salad topped with a homemade salmon burger, 1/2 avocado, and some leftover cutest peppers in the world from one of my nutrition classes. Along with my little something sweet, aka the clementine that has been living in my lunch bag for over a week. RIP.
Since I was planning on making some homemade hummus with my after school kids, I decided to pregame with some roasted red pepper variety first.
Surprisingly, it wasn’t a raging success with them. They were good sports and gave our hummus a try. There’s one of the 7 times a kid needs to accept a new food did and done!
And then things got a little bit romantic at the Sinful Nutrition casa…
With yet another salmon burger, green beans, and spicy mustard by candlelight, and with Al Green serenades. I sure know how to treat a lady.
And since I double-dosed my salmon quota for the day, I felt it 100% necessary to quote one of my favorite movies in the spirit of the occasion.
And celebrate with some non-oceanic eats for my sweet teeth.
