A Little Somethin’ Sunday #100 + Reader Survey {Giveaway}

December 10, 2017 by Emily Cooper 11 Comments

Happy Sunday!

The day is here! ALSS number 1-0-0! It feels like just yesterday that I started sharing other people’s great content when I couldn’t think of my own. Started from the bottom now we here.

And for this extra special occasion, I have something extra special in store! Now that 2017 is barreling down the pike, I wanted to gear up to bring you the best of the best of MY OWN content by gathering your input on what YOU want to see on the little blog of mine.

It would mean the world if you took a couple minutes to fill out the reader survey at the end of this post, and if you do, you’ll be entered to win a $25 Amazon gift card to show my thanks!

Let’s get to it, shall we?

A little something Sunday

Daily Quote:

Stop waiting quote

from Pinterest

On top of the goals and habits I shared on Thursday, living and enjoying every day for it’s potential is on my list of do’s for the new year..starting NOW. What’s one good thing you can do TODAY?

Music of the Moment:

“Sweet Ophelia (Gold Fields Remix)” – Zella Day

This song may make me feel like I’m in an Abercrombie and Fitch without the choking on the sea of cologne, but regardless it gets my head bobbin’ and weavin’ every time I play it on my car ride home.

Life Lately:

Balanced Chicken Dinner

I recently started a new weight lifting program to build some more muscle..aka keep my a$$ inside as much as possible for workouts during the winter. Refueling with a balanced meal like this one is oh so satisfying when my hamstrings are quivering.

Christmas Tree and Movie

BAE-friend and I FINALLY managed to stay up late enough to get a Christmas movie in TO. THE. END. Miracles do happen. Complete with homemade hot cocoa and a big ol’ bowl of popcorn. My kinda Friday night.

Fresh Baked Bread

And the perfect Saturday morning. Coffee. Heated seats. And heated laps thanks to fresh baked bread. Can someone make a candle of that scent already? I need to be basking in baked gluten scents at all times.

Food:

Mistletoe Margaritas – How Sweet Eats

Leave Santa a nice little nightcap like this one instead of cookies, and I guarantee you’re name will be hitting AT LEAST the top 10 on the nice list, if not top 5. Just make it a little strong for good measure. 😉

Chocolate Dipped Oatmeal Peanut Butter Cookies – Joyful Healthy Eats

As if peanut butter and cookies didn’t win me over already. Canonballed into velvety chocolate? TAKE MY MONEY.

Maple Pecan Latte Overnight Oats – Love & Zest

If I’m gunna eat oats, it better be caffeinated. Having this ready and waiting for you to devour even before your actually coffee is done is clutch-aroni.

How to Start a Daily Intention Setting Ritual – In it 4 the Long Run

Not gunna lie, the “setting an intention” aspect of yoga always perplexed me when I first started out. Georgie’s straightforward answer to starting the day with a right mind is much appreciated.

How to Prioritize Yourself Even When You’re Busy – Nutrition Stripped

If ain’t nobody got time for themselves, they best check themselves. I hate to be the one to break this, but if you don’t take care of the one and only self you got, you best believe you can’t take care of anyone else. Capeesh?

Video Essentials: 5 Tips to Get You Started – Food & Nutrition

If video and photos were pop idols, video would be Queen Bee, and photo would be…Eve. She was cool back in the day, but BEE is QUEEN. Aka, you need to be doing movies.

How to Use Lists Effectively in Your Blog Posts – ProBlogger

Lists can seem boring and mundane, but using them effectively in your blog post can make it viral-worthy. Plus, I am just a lover of lists, so spreading it to the masses…I’m all ears.

This time 2 years ago I …

Healthy Gingerbread Cookie Dough Dip -- No flour, no refined sugar, or oils. Dig into this festive dessert dip without the guilt! #vegan #glutenfree

made gingerbread in spoon-able cookie dough form WITH BEANS. Eaten with gingerbread cookies suggested, but any ol’ cookie will do. 🙂
