Pumpkin Spice Golden Milk Latte — An easy golden milk recipe fit for fall! Made with almond milk, pumpkin pie spice, turmeric, and maple syrup, and is the perfect warm beverage for a cool fall day! {Vegan, Gluten Free}
Aside from the rare and obscure options out there (like pumpkin spice Pringles. Really?!), I have no shame in my pumpkin spice game. Being a fall baby, I’ve had pumpkin spice running through my veins since birth. It was only a matter of time before I made my own version of another trendy food: Golden Milk.
Why This Recipe Works:
The pumpkin pie spice adds sweetness to the earthy flavor of turmeric.
Cinnamon and maple syrup add a touch more sweetness and fall flavor.
You can make on this latte on the stovetop or in the microwave.

How to Make This Pumpkin Spice Golden Milk Recipe:
In a small saucepan set over medium-low heat, add almond milk. If you want a richer flavor, you can also use canned coconut milk, or light coconut milk. Add 2 tablespoons of pumpkin puree (not pumpkin pie filling), 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon, 1/4 teaspoon of turmeric, 1/4 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice, and a pinch of black pepper, and whisk to combine.
Stir in 1-2 teaspoons of maple syrup, and whisk to combine. Add a pinch of stevia if you want it a little sweeter, or more maple syrup to taste. Let simmer for about 2 minutes, or until heated through before transferring to a mug. Top with a sprinkle of cinnamon to serve.
Pro Tips:
- Make it super fast by adding everything to a microwave-safe mug, mixing together, and microwaving on high for 1-2 minutes, or until hot.
- Adding a pinch of black pepper helps your body absorb the good stuff in turmeric better.
- Control the amount of sweetness by using pumpkin puree (instead of pumpkin pie mix), and sweetening yourself with maple syrup, and optional stevia.
FAQs
Can I make this in the microwave?
Definitely! Mix all the ingredients in a microwave-safe mug, and heat on high for 1-2 minutes, or until it’s hot.
Do I need to use stevia?
You can use your preferred sweetener instead of the stevia or maple syrup. I love the fall flavor of maple, and prefer stevia for a sweetener, but it’s up to you, boo what you use.
What if I don’t have pumpkin pie spice?
You can make your own mix by combining 2 tablespoons of cinnamon, 1/2 tablespoon ground ginger, 1/2 tablespoon nutmeg, 1/2 tablespoon allspice, and 1/2 teaspoon of ground clove in a resealable container.
Money Saving Tips for this Pumpkin Spice Golden Milk Recipe:
Buy store brand. Opt for store brands when possible for a less expensive option that doesn’t sacrifice flavor or quality.
Use refrigerated. Refrigerated almond milk is often cheaper than the shelf stable version, and can contain less preservatives than the shelf-stable varieties.

Hi–looking forward to trying your recipe. There’s a little typo in the list of ingredients for the make-your-own pumpkin pie spice–I think it means to list “ground cloves” instead of “ground clover”! Thanks for the inspired recipes.
Thanks for catching that Christine! All updated 🙂
