Good morning my nutrition sinners!

Maybe you noticed a little bit of a new look to my blogging casa? I updated my theme and added a new bio in my side bar ============>

Or maybe you didn’t. Either way I spent wayyy to many hours this weekend on sketchy wi-fi updating and it’s STILL a work in progress. #BloggerProbz4Dayzz

One thing that always seems to be part of a healthy habit or way of eating is to get more veggies. We all know it, some of us love them, some loathe them entirely. Either way, they still should be a good portion to every meal.

Especially greens. I mean, have you heard the saying, “Lean, green, cancer-fighting machine?!” …or something like that. These leafy superheros are packed with all you could ever dream of in a vegetable.

-Vitamins & Minerals

-Fiber

-Antioxidants

-Low in calories

…Besides that whole bitter-tasting thing. We all have our downfalls, right?

That’s where this low carb spinach wrap comes in. It may look green, but I can promise you it doesn’t taste it.

It’s also made with only 5 ingredients, or 6 if you wanna be technical and count water. Paleo-friendly, gluten-free, dairy-free, or just simple and delicious if you could care less how “free” it is. Let’s go to the stats, shall we?

Why I love these Low Carb Spinach Wraps:

  • Serving of green veggies in each wrap. All about more veggies!
  • Gluten-free and paleo-friendly, so everyone can enjoy!

I packed mine full of more veggies with cucumber, zucchini, and shredded carrots, and buffalo hummus, and made such a light but filling lunch.

You could even use it as a pizza crust, and get in some of your greens without even knowing it!

Could you use almond meal instead of flax?

Haven’t tried it with almond meal yet. I’m not sure if it would have the same texture. Let me know if you end up trying it!
