    A Little Somethin' Sunday #99

December 3, 2017 by Emily Cooper Leave a Comment

    Happy Sunday!

The countdown to Christmas is on! You feel me?! Plus, we are one post away from hitting the big 1-0-0 for A Little Somethin' Sunday! These posts I'll tell ya, they just grow up so fast right before our eyes.

    Let's read!

    A little something Sunday

Instead of putting so much focus on big, lofty goals, split them up. Tiny, little baby goals are much more accomplishable to the big picture. Plus a whole lot cuter.

    Music of the Moment:

"Time (Clock of the Heart)" - Culture Club

I'll be the first one to tell you that I am NOT a fan of 80's music. Aside from Madonna. She's timeless. And lately, Culture Club has been granted a pass for my despise of synth pop. Step aside Karma Chameleon, because this one has my heart.

    Life Lately:

    Thanksgiving Dinner 2017

Thanksgiving dinner back home with the fam. Loads of veg plus sweet gherkin pickles are a must.

    Christmas Tree Cutting

Cutting down my first Christmas tree (aka watching Mr. BAEfriend do all the hard labor) finally happened this year. It only took moving OUT of New England and to New Jersey for it to happen.

    Christmas Tree 2017

...and now it's starting to feel like the holidays. Besides the near 60 temps around here, but let's not go there just yet.

    Food:

Chocolate Peanut Butter Balls - Averie Cooks

Lord, give me strength to not eat an entire batch of these in one sitting. If you don't like the sweet, salty, chocolate, peanut butter combo, you're not doing life right.

Mexican Sweet Potato Chicken Soup - Eating Bird Food

Bring on the frosty temps, JUST so I hover around a big batch of this soup. I mean, how gorgeous is this?!

Overnight Gingerbread Cinnamon Rolls - Half Baked Harvest

Can you imagine waking up on Christmas morning to these coming hot out of the oven? Sorry Pillsbury, your pop and bake got nothin' on these bad boys.

The holidays can be a big stress trigger for many. Not only because of the gifts and get togethers, but because of ALL THE FOOD. Robyn's voice in stopping those hurtful thoughts are always welcome.
