A Little Somethin’ Sunday #98

November 19, 2017 by Emily Cooper Leave a Comment

Happy Sunday!

Ohh, how I hate to love rainy cold weekends. The perfect excuse to do nothing. And the feeling of doing absolutely nothing. Catch 22 at it’s finest. Let’s at least ponder the thought of being productive over a cuppa, and some daily reads!

A little something Sunday

Daily Quote:

Walk as if quote

from Pinterest

Very fitting for the gratitude of Thanksgiving. How different we would walk, feel, and carry ourselves if we had this mindset for even 5 minutes each and every day.

Music of the Moment:

“No Less” SG Lewis

My latest musical obsession, SG Lewis is the ultimate chill bill music. I’ve been loving it on the way home from work when I need a break from the pump up-ness(??) of T-Swift or A-Grande.

Life Lately:

Doodle Writing

Hard at work I swear. Doodling helps me concentrate..or so I tell myself. 20 or so bubble letter names a day, and I still don’t know if it’s working.

Zen Den Picture

We’re finally putting the salt lamp and diffuser to use in the spare room AKA zen den. Who needs a yoga studio when you have youtube and lavender. Chill bill volume 2 up in this hizz-ouse!

Food:

Vegan Purple Sweet Potato Pie – Fooduzzi

Holy color! This pie will fo’ sho’ drop some jaws at any and every holiday meal.

Balsamic Almond Butter Dressing – Fit Mitten Kitchen

I never thought to use nut butter to make dressing, but now I am DEFINITELY using nut butter to make dressing. End. Of. Story.

Cherry Chestnut Turkey Roulade – Running to the Kitchen

Screw the full bird, this roulade is a show stopper. Plus, it’s an easy way to fill it with stuffing without the E. Coli risk. Win, win my friends.

Health:

A World of Misinformation – Real Mom Nutrition

Now more than ever, the amount of information at our fingertips is astounding. Especially when A LOT of that info is false, especially when it comes to health and nutrition.

I always love reading Nia’s no BS, straight to the point answers around fitness. Cut the crap, and stop setting yourself for failure. DONE.

Take the moments of envy, and turn them into a learning point. These are such great pointers to keep that positive energy flowing even through tough times.

…combined pecan pie and rice krispie treats. It was sticky, but so worth it. That’s what wet wipes are made for.
