A Little Somethin’ Sunday #88

July 23, 2017 by Emily Cooper 4 Comments

Happy Sunday!

How’s your weekend treating you? If you’re upper lip isn’t sweating at at least one point this weekend, you aren’t doing summer right.

Grab a cup of joe (maybe make that iced) and cuddle up for this week’s ALSS shindig!

A little something Sunday

Daily Quote:

Value of your life quote

from Pinterest

It’s not the years in your life, but the life in your years right? RIGHT.

Music of the Moment:

“Want You Back” – HAIM

YAAS for girl bands and HAIM’s new album. This one is guaranteed to get stuck in your hand, and spontaneously break into song and dance just like the vid.

Life Lately:

Hemp Seed Avocado

I have been eating avocados like cray lately. My hair and skin thank me. I feel much better and satisfied with healthy fats and fiber in my life, which avocados are the poster child for. Straight outta the shell with hemp seeds and somethin spicy is my fav.

Running outside sneaks

I’m glad I decided to pick the most hot and humid afternoon to try running again. It still felt good to get outside, move, and sweat. The huge ass hill on the other hand was a definite no go for this gal.

Breakfast with BAE

I am soaking up the last weekend in Portland with the BAE-friend, by doing all the things we love about this city. 98% of them involving food, like this place. I will miss it and it’s amazing raspberry jam so so much.

Peach Blueberry Crisp with Cornmeal Crumble – Joanne Eats Well with Others

Helllo season of fruits! That cornmeal crumble idea is super genius, and leaves me kicking myself that I never thought of it.

Black Bean Tomato Avocado Salad – Little Spice Jar

A salad that tastes like guacamole. Do I need say more? I’ll say it again slowly this time. GUAC-A-MO-LE.

How I Found a Better Work-Life Balance – The Healthy Maven

From blogging, to podcasting, Youtube channeling, and being an amazing videographer and storyteller, I don’t know how this girl does it. But if she can find a better work-life balance, I sure as hell can too.
