And Memorial Day weekend Sunday at that! Thank you all who have fought for this country, and sacrificed so much for our freedom. I am forever grateful.
I spent the weekend with my bro-ha at the Boston Calling music festival, which I’ll just say Mumford & Sons headlined. ‘Nuff said. Ah-Maz-Ing.
But let’s read all about it for the 8-2 edition of ALSS!
This quote really made me think. What makes me happy? Is that something I can lose? And then I thought….we make our own happiness. No matter what you choose to measure happiness in, it is up to you.
Music of the Moment:
I’ve been obsessed with this song ever since I heard it in..T.J Maxx? Marshalls? Some other irrelevant store? After I found out it wasn’t Selena Gomez ( thanks google) it was a little easier to find with my limited known lyric google search. Nonstop listening now.
Bringing the boyf back to my roots…the wild jungles of N.H. Just the typical things you find at a farmstand. Chickens. Ducks. Peacocks. NBD.
Hello running, my old friend. I am slowly (keyword, SLOWLY) getting back into running, with a plan to run 3 days a week, and do yoga and maybe some strength training in between.
I made it to one day this week, and at 6:30 AM at that! I’ll have you know I am not a morning exerciser, and while I felt like I was going to literally pass out at the end, I was glad I did it.

You Are Not a Garbage Disposal – Andie Mitchell
One thing I hate is food waste. It’s everywhere. So it’s hard for me to throw out food or let it rot in my fridge when I forget about it. This is something I need to work on.
Embracing the Life You Have – Cotter Crunch
I love Lindsay’s perspective. No matter where your life is metaphorically or geographically, EMBRACE IT. Enjoy the spark in every day, or even the bumps. Cuz it’s your damn life. And no one can take that from you.
Creating a Restoring Nighttime Ritual Tonight with these 7 Relaxing Habits – In It 4 the Long Run
