A Little Somethin’ Sunday #54

September 25, 2016 by Emily Cooper 2 Comments

Happy Sunday!

Hope the leaves are starting to peep your way, or whatever your world does in fall.

It’s time to procrastinate getting out of bed, with a little bit of help from my favorite weekly reads!

A little something Sunday

Daily Quote:

Touching Toes Yoga Quote

from Pinterest

So many (myself included) get caught up with not being able to “do” yoga, while in reality it is 99% mindset, and 1% breath that makes up the practice of yoga.

Music of the Moment:

“The Trouble With Us” – Chet Faker, Marcus Marr

Chet is no stranger to the land of ALSS music, and this 70s feel track has my heart at the moment. Constant movin’ and groovin’ is soon ensued.

Weekly Workouts:

2 weeks of Yoga Camp going strong! I fall in love with the practice more and more each day.

Food:

Tempeh Butternut Squash Noodle Bake – Hummusapien

Tempeh is one of my favorite plant proteins, and am always looking for new ways to prepare it. Love this fall appropriate version, plus another reason to using my spiralizer!

Split Pea Pesto Stuffed Shells – Detoxinista

I’m not usually one for (gasp) pasta, but this one is creative enough to lure me in. Those pops of color screaming at me definitely help too!

Spinach Artichoke Dip Mac & Cheese – Zen & Spice

Confession: I am partial to boxed mac over homemade. There I said it. Especially when it is combined with one of the best appetizers known to man.
