A Little Somethin’ Sunday #111

February 25, 2018 by Emily Cooper 1 Comment

Happy Sunday!

Between 80 degrees to rainy 40 degree days all in one week, I can’t begin to understand Jersey weather. Does anyone else feel like doing absolutely nothing that doesn’t involve a couch, sweatpants, and hot beverages on a rainy Sunday morning? Just living the dream my friends.

Let’s top off our coffees, and settle in for numba 1-1-1 of ALSS!

Well when you say it like that…. I have A LOT of experience so far. LOTS.

Music of the Moment:

“Hot Hands” – Darius

I’m all about the groovy house tunes lately. This is yet another one on the list of dance-inducing songs.

Life Lately:

Reusable bag with pug

I spotted this cutie in Marshall’s, but couldn’t bring myself to add another reusable bag to my endless pile. Luckily Mr. Rob could do it for me. 🙂 The glasses and the hat…I die…

Princeton Dinky Bar Appetizers

We also went out for happy hour at our new favorite bar, The Dinky Bar here in Princeton. We came for the ice cream sandwich (no lie) but stayed for the epic vegetarian nachos, and weirdly entertaining Princeton folk. And a little pinot noir never hurts. 😉

Good Eats:

Caramel Macchiato Banana Bread – Averie Cooks

Gah-urrrlll!!! A hot bevy and a snack in a one and done tasty little package? Cased closed. That’s a wrap. Fin. I’m SOLD.

Chipotle Black Bean, Brown Rice, and Mango Quesadillas – Half Baked Harvest

These ‘dillas were too epic not to include in this post. I may hate melty cheese, but even this one has my attention.

Philly Cheese Steak Stuffed Mushrooms – Joyful Healthy Eats

Blame it on being close to the city of brotherly love, but I have been hankerin’ for a cheese steak for weeks now. Love this ‘shroomy version!

A Tarot Card Reading Can Be the Therapy Session You Never Knew You Needed – Greatist

One of the first things my ma (MJ) will say when I come home is, “did you bring your tarot cards?!” It is a ritual I have come to love, even if I still can decipher what my readings mean.
