Happy Sunday!
I'm knee deep in a Vermont trip (hopefully not knee deep in snow), but couldn't pass a weekend without ALSS!
Maybe I'm snowmobiling. Or carving the slopes. But most likely am still in my pajamas with my third cup of coffee already. So let's chat a bit!

With the whole Weight Watchers teen program under fire, I thought it was only fitting to go to Brene Brown for some inspiration. Do you want to live in a world of shame or encouragement?
Music of the Moment:
"Cape Town (Panama Remix)" - Clubfeet
I found this song last summer, and am now just rediscovering it. Can you say weekend dance party? Cuz' this song sure can.
Life Lately:
Me and Mr. Rob went out for V-Day on Saturday night instead of Wednesday, when it decided it would be a good time to downpour. Between blizzards and illnesses, our Valentine's Days never seem to go so smoothly. Nevertheless, it was good to get out, even if the food looked a lot better than it actually was. At least the wine was A+++!
Don't mind me and my old lady hands. They always say, wrinkly hands means you're hard-working. I really think they're just trying to be nice.
I've been EYEing this ring for a while now, and lucky lil' old me has a very special valentine. It's supposed to be a symbol to protect you from evil, hence the evil eye name, but I really just think it looks cool. A little evil protection never hurts though. 😉
Good Eats:
Vegan Tempeh Tikka Masala - Eating Bird Food
I am always trying to spread that tempeh love. It can be a little hard to convince folks to try a block of fermented soybeans, but when I do, there's no turning back. Plus, how could you not love a gorgeous meal like this one?!
Creamy Rosé Pasta with Roasted Tomatoes - Gimme Some Oven
Shut up. Pasta with RO-SAY?! Genius. Now if we can just get to making wine-infused bread, that's be GOLDEN.
Stuffed Bagel Balls - Skinnytaste
I can't get over how adorably easy these cuties are to make. Seeing as I never seem to have the stomach for a giant bagel, these were made for me. Thanks Gina, you shouldn't have! 😉

Stop Body Shaming: An Open Letter to Oprah & Weight Watchers - Lively Table
If you hadn't heard, Weight Watchers just announced that they would be giving teens free memberships, aka disordered relationships with food even earlier. Is this REALLY the resource we want to be giving to impressionable young minds? Love how many RDs are coming out against this, especially Kaleigh's words here.
3 Nutritionists on Why Keto Might Not Be Right For You - The Kitchn
To be honest, I roll my eyes when I hear the word keto. I was fascinated by the diet during my internship because of how it could reverse the effects of epilepsy. I think it's good for some, not nearly as many people who have jumped on yet again another overhyped diet. Happy to see some of my favorite RDs on this list!
Are Essential Oils BS? - Greatist
While I definitely don't think they're a cure all, diffusing lavender helps set the calm during some home yoga practice. If you're confused about this hype, this is a great rundown on everything you should know.
