Only 7 more sleeps ’til Christmas Eve! Kenya believe it?!
I’ve LOVED seeing your input on this year’s Reader Survey, and am putting it all into good use for 2018. Lots to come for Sinful Nutrition next year! If you haven’t done so yet, there’s still time to complete the survey, AND enter to win a $25 Amazon gift card until 12/31!
I like the way you think Mr. Dickens. 😉 Except, that’d be peanut butter in my case. Best friends pack jars of super chunky.
Music of the Moment:
“Christmas is Coming” -Vince Guaraldi Trio
I had to include some holiday tunes around these parts eventually. This CD is played 365 back home, and this one has always been a favorite of mine.
How more perfect of a Christmas scene could this get?! BAEfriend and I finally explored the night scene of Princeton, and stumbling upon the tree lit up under snowfall gave me all the holiday feels.
Not to mention I can’t officially start the holiday season until Polar Express is watched..at night..with the tree lit…under the blankets…with ice cream and/or popcorn and/or hot chocolate. Don’t mess with tradition.
Yesterday, I also did my first Facebook Live as part of this month’s Recipe Redux sponsored theme. It was scary. It was fun. There will be more. 😀
Coconut Chocolate Pretzel Balls – Andie Mitchell
Sweet and salty is the power couple of the food world. The fact that I can fit all these flavors in my mouth at one time is a Godsend.
Loaded Vegan Chili Cheese Tots – Emilie Eats
I can’t help but think of Napoleon Dynamite whenever I hear tater tots or quesadillas (pronounced quesa-DILL-ahs). Vegan or not, you can’t deny these tots.
Buddy the Elf Cocktail – Half Baked Harvest
Buddy the Elf, what’s your favorite cocktail?! THIS.
Flourless Peanut Butter Blossom Cookies – JoyFoodSunshine
Who knew festive chocolate candies could make these classic cookies even more adorable. Love her secret trick to the candies too!
4 Things Learned On My Wellness & Yoga Retreat – Fit Mitten Kitchen
As jealous as I am of this gorgeous trip to Costa Rica (and the SLOTH!!!), these lessons can be applied to help you live a little more of an intentional life each and every day.
How to Eat Intuitively During the Holiday Season – In it 4 the Long Run
Two key takeaways: Nourish your body. Nourish your soul. Eat all the salads, and the cookies too.
Nutrition Considerations for the Transgender Community – Food & Nutrition
To be honest, this never even crossed my mind, but am SO glad more attention is being brought to the topic. Such a great read!
How to Not Give a H*ck About Your Weight this Holiday Season – Kale, Quinoa, & Cookies
First off, I am SO happy to see my Portland friend finally joining the blog world! You’ll soon learn that she is another beacon of light in the intuitive eating and body positive nutrition world.
Thanks to some awesome reader feedback, I am thinking of nixing this topic for link love. I struggle to find a lot of new and great topics anyway. Any thoughts? Any topics you want included instead?
From the Blog:
This time 1 year ago I …
shared a healthier version of one of my favorite holiday side dishes, Cauliflower Gratin. Why do I always post these when I’m hungry?!
