This Homemade Gluten Free Chex Mix Recipe is a seriously addicting party snack that is perfect for your game day spread. Love the smokey and salty combo!

If you've made it to this post, you are a proud member of Food > Football Game. Welcome aboard.
I mean if I had to, I could watch a sporting event without food present if I wanted to. But why would I want to? There's far too many foods that are best enjoyed while distracted by men running around in tights.
River Dance and snacking go hand in hand. Oh, right right. FOOTBALL. I always get those two confused. BONUS, it's Recipe Redux time! Here's this month's theme:
Crunchy Snacks
Whether headed to the beach, or headed back to school, or ready for football – we’re craving crunchy snacks. Show us your favorite healthy snack recipe with crackle and crunch.
There's a few key requirements when it comes to making the cut for big game snacking.
- Salt
- Buffalo
- Cheese
- Beer
- Crunchy
I've got far too many buffalo recipes. I despise melty cheese. And vodka soda > beer too. I'll take salty crunch for 400, Alex.
As much as I love that sweet and salty combo, sweet and smoky felt a lot more 'macho' for men in tights-watching. I made this a gluten free chex mix recipe, not because I follow a gluten free diet, but because other people do. And I want as many people to partake in this salty crunch addiction with me (but say no to drugs, kids). So when a recipe is easily adaptable to gluten free, vegan, dairy free, etc, I do it. You could easily swap out the gluten free versions for the regular version if that's your jam. Just don't mess with the salt, and we won't have any issues.
