*Disclaimer: I received this class free of charge as part of the Blog & Tweet NH group in exchange for this post and review. I was not compensated in any other way, and all thoughts and opinions are my own.
It’s a bird! It’s a plane! It’s…FRIDAY! Hold on to your knickers girls, cuz it’s about to get weekend up in here.
Before we commence your royal weekend-ness let’s explore what happened last weekend. I’ll give you a hint..
And no I did not sneak into a firehouse. One of the events with the girls of Blog & Tweet NH, we had the chance to strut our stuff at New Perspectives Pole & Aerial with our lovely instructor Juel. Can you believe what this gal can do?!
I can’t even begin to pretend that is me. Juel was amazing and walked..or swung us through a whole routine of moves which both scared and amazed me at the same time. Three things I learned from this class are, 1.) I am not bringing sexy back. 2.) Swinging on a pole is easier than it looks. 3.) I think I’ll stick to watching Magic Mike.
While I may have lacked on the sex appeal part of the lesson, I did have a lot of fun learning how relatively easy it was to master some of the moves. I think it would be fun to do this with a bunch of friends where maybe I would feel a little more comfortable letting my hair down. Call me crazy but there’s something intriguing about being able to hang upside down on a pole that makes me want to master it. I may have to work on actually hanging on to the pole first.
While I may not have a future working at Mark’s Showplace gentleman’s club I think my parents may be thankful for that, but I would definitely try this class again. I mean I guess I should have a routine ready for when I actually do bust into the firehouse to deliver some chocolate chip cookies next time.
Thanks to all the girls of Blog & Tweet NH, and of course Juel for an amazing class!
Make it a great day!
What’s making your Friday fabulous?
