Majestic mountaintops. They’re never there when you need ’em.
But Friday sho’ is, so let’s celebrate with a few of my favorite things!
I’m on a Sound of Music roll today. Too bad I’ve never ACTUALLY watched the entire movie.
And some salad, cuz we’re healthy like that.
One day a week..
Sunday is forever my run-day, and is my time to hit the road, leave my worries behind, and focus on the shorts riding up my crotch and inspector gadget arm of running accessories.
During the week, I keep it short & sweet. Two days of tabata-style cardio (jumping jacks, burpees, mountain climbers), three days of total-body weight training (pushups, lunges, bent rows, ab work), and one rest day. Twenty minutes of sweat-time is much more realistic for me during the week, and helps me stay on track.
Somehow I don’t think this was referring to childhood snacks, unless it’s me you’re talking to. Apple slices and cinnamon plus a side of pb (or sun butter in this case) for dippage never gets old. Give me some juicy juice from the CAN. (remember those?!) and I’m 6 again.
Maybe that’s an oxymoron, but when you find your collection of Dream Street autographs when cleaning out your closet, you can’t help but tell the world. These are going to be worth so much money someday I just know it. 😉
