Hiyo friends! Kick off your shoes. Relax your feet. It’s Friday!
I have the day off today and have plans to get my drank on at Sweet Baby Vineyard for a wine tasting with my main squeeze…a bottle of wine. Oh and Hannah is invited too.
Despite the threat of thunderstorms, pouring rain, and other miserable weather encounters that only happen on your day off, I am going to make the most of the day and sneak an extra 2 oz serving of pinot to the face.
And what’s a funner was to kick off a Friday-off with a link up! Following in on Clare’s Five Things Friday, I’ll put the Sinful twist on that and make it a Five FABULOUS Things Friday…dahling.
Five (Fabulous) things I ate:
Da bomb beet & bean salad from Miss Hummusapien.
Trying a persimmon for the first time!
Crossing this baby off the hit list. My take is it tastes like a cross between a plum and papaya..with a tougher skin. Worth a revisit and some recipe testing…And by recipe I mean trying with peanut butter.
This fig, goat cheese, and arugula pizza. ALL THE GOAT CHEESE.
Cottage Cheese. Addicted. And much like any food with the word loaf involved. I feel the cottage gets a bad rep.
Ezekial toast. A bread that tastes like what actually bread should taste like. Worth the $5.00 a loaf than a $2.00 loaf of air. Op there I go with the loaf again.
Five (Fabulous) Workouts:
Early morning walks before work.
Interval runs on the treadmill.
Bike intervals & Jackie Warner’s Weight Routine A.

The fact that France is less than a month away!!
The life changes that I’m about to make and how they will make me…me.
Having Papa John as a workout buddy. Having someone accountable is really the anti-excuse cure for working out.
Warmer weather! It’s feel good not to wear 5 layers of clothing to bed. And sleep with the window open peacefully. Now about this pollen stuff…
Coffee. I caved into drinking it during the week again after my hiatus to just weekends full of java. Starting my day off with it blows my mind how I survived without it.
