Description

This Broccoli Cheddar Waffle Grilled Cheese is a super easy & fun recipe for the whole family. The best way to re-make this classic sandwich!

Ingredients

  • 2 slices whole wheat bread
  • 2 ounces Cabot sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1/4 cup broccoli, shredded
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • black pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine cheese, broccoli, garlic powder, and black pepper.
  2. Heat waffle iron to medium heat, and spray with non-stick cooking spray.
  3. Add 1 slice of bread to middle of waffle iron, and top with cheese mixture.
  4. Top with with remaining slice of bread, and cook in waffle iron for 2-3 minutes, or until browned and cheese is melted.
