A 2016 Holiday Gift Guide for Healthy Fit Foodies + GIVEAWAY!
Hoooolllly Kris Kringle, this was the longest, drag-iest week of my entire 27th life.
But alas, its FRI-nally FRI-YAY!
Every year I PLAN to get all of my Christmas shopping done early, and every year I am still buying gifts on December 23rd.
There’s still people on my list that have a big ass ???? next to, which is why I love gift guides!
If you’ve got a health nut, foodie, runner, yogi, or lover of food left on your list, I’m here to help with this year’s holiday gift guide, PLUS a bonus GIVEAWAY at the end!
Coffee Before I Dietitian Mug $20 – The Sarcastic Nutritionist
Mayybee I snuck this one in there because I wouldn’t be mad if you bought it for me. 😉Â
But seriously, this is perfect for all those coffee-lovin’ (addicted) nutrition friends, and they also have many other laugh-worthy nutrition related goodies that you can’t really go wrong.
NibMor Daily Dose Chocolates $2 – $30 – NibMor
I got a box of the daily dose dark chocolates in my stocking last year and LOVED them. They’re perfect when you’re afternoon sweet tooth hits, but keeps portions to one perfect little square of cocoa. Bonus that I found out they’re based out of Maine!
Stitch Fix Styling Service $20 – $1000 – Stitch Fix Gift Card
I tried Stitch Fix for the first time this summer (you can find my full recap in this post) and fell in love. For the gal that doesn’t spend much on herself unless it’s food, I will gladly pay someone to dress me. I can also justify spending a little more on quality clothing when I don’t shop err’ weekend.
Sling Yoga Backpack $35 – $40 – Aurorae Yoga
I am so not the purse kinda gal, unless I can sling it across my body, and shovel half the contents of my apartment into it….This is why I opt for backpacks more often, and this yoga backpack looks perfect for when I want to go to yoga class, and get away for the weekend. LOVE the yellow stripe color on these too!
KitchenAid Spiralizer Attachment $80Â – Kitchen Aid
I got one of these last year for Christmas and it seriously changed my life. Perfect for those veggie-lovin’ foodies and their faux noodle obsessions. PLUS it’s on sale at Target for $50 off!
Wild Friends Sugar Cookie Peanut Butter $14 – Amazon
…Because we all have that friend (me) who is OBSESSED with peanut butter. Why not kick up the festivities with sugar cookie pb?! They also make a gingerbread flavor in case that’s more your cookie lovin’ style!
Yaktrax RUN $40 – Yaktrax
I got a pair of these last year and are a necessity for the runner in your life, or even the walking commuter. Let’s be real, anyone who lives where there is ice and walks outside can benefit from a pair of these.
SpiBelt for Runners $20 – $45 – SPIbelt
After my running mishap, I never leave for a run without shoveling my keys, phone, and tunes into my running belt. A great gift for runners of any level or experience.
Will Wake For Brunch Eye Mask $14 – Etsy
For the friend that works for the weekend..brunch. Might as well let everyone know where you stand on Sunday mornings.
ZeroWater Filtration System $15 – $40 – ZeroWater
If you have someone in your life that refuses to drink tap water ( I won’t mention any names..:) ) this is actually a super practical and appreciated gift. They carry a lot of different types from  personal water bottles to 23 cup dispensers, which is perfect for the gallon a day drinkers like me.
HelloFresh Meal Subscription $70 – $105 – HelloFresh
I got to try a trial of HelloFresh as part of their FreshFans group (which fellow RDs can join too with this signup form!), and loved the experience! It’s definitely not something I would do all the time, but is a fun idea for a couple, whether or not they like to cook, since all the stuff is pretty much already prepped and laid out for you. They have a variety of different options from family plans to vegetarian.
Bonus: Get $35 off your first HelloFresh box with the discount code FRESHFANSRD35 !
And now it’s your turn to win! Day 5 of the 12 Days of Giving is “give to a stranger”. While I like to consider each and every one of you my BFOL (best friend on-line), I’ve never told you you have something in your teeth, and you haven’t seen me without makeup so we’re still in stranger territory.
Moving on! A few of these gracious companies agreed to let me give you some of their awesome products to gift ..or keep to yourself. I won’t judge.
Enter below to win one of the Yoga Sling Backpacks, a ZeroWater Filtration Pitcher, and SPIbelt!
Contest is upon until Monday 12/19/16. The winner will be notified by email, and given 24 hours to respond. If no response is received, another winner will be chosen.
Make it a great (holi)day!

Yaktrax are something I NEED yet never buy. do they mess up your shoes? I love spibelts over flip belts, and i volunteered in november fixing up bikes that were given away to kids!
I would love spiralizer, but the attachment for my Kitchen Aid would also do :).
I’m spreading the holiday love by smiling more (even to strangers), holding the door for people, staying more in touch with friends (I’m not very good at that) and letting myself be stress-free since I’m on vacation til the end of the year.
This is a legit list. And you can never have enough water filters.
I’m thankful to work for a company that gives back all year-round but especially during the holiday season. We are volunteering at a food pantry and we donated toys, food, and books. As a family, we adopted two angels and gave to several nonprofits. Tis the season for GIVING!
I love that you include my favorite nut butter- Wild Friends Sugar Cookie!! Happy holiday’s girl 🙂
So many goodies!
We’re giving back as much as we can. The girls with their food drives, volunteering filling backpacks with food at a local school, making sandwiches for the homeless, donating time and money where ever we can.
So many great ideas. Is it ok to gift myself this time of year 🙂
Such a great gift guide!
I am giving back by helping a family at my church who has kids and wants to provide a good Christmas for them!
Alright those NibMore Chocolates just got added to my own Christmas wish list!
I love the will wake for brunch eye mask!
Sugar cookie peanut butter!!! SO GOOD RIGHT!!
Every year my husband and I purchase angels off the Salvation Army tree.
It’s all about the little things this year, I put a snack bowl on my porch with water and fruit for the delivery drivers, holding the door open for strangers, smiling more, etc.
we volunteer at a local shelter
THAT BACKPACK! <3 I'm not much of a purse person either, so I'd be all over that!
I donated food/clothes and have been doing a lot of volunteering throughout the year! :]
This is such a great list! I’m giving back this season by sponsoring a family and buying them Christmas gifts!
I am giving back by donating used clothes to my local Goodwill.
