Little hi little ho Wednesday!
Mid-week always comes so much faster when one of your work days are spent with cute little breakfast spots, beach views, and chocolate chip cookies the size of your face.
And all the faster we can overshare our meals and eats for What I Ate Wednesday!
After a three day streak of egg-related breakfasts, my body was in dire need of creamy cold smoothie, and making an epic smoothie roundup made for some inspiration.
1 1/2 scoops chocolate protein powder ( I use MyProtein) // 1/2 banana // kale // shredded coconut // fresh ginger
Somehow sitting down for breakfast only to gulp it down in three sips doesn’t seem all that appealing. Hoo-rah for standing desks!
A morning of stapling and learning all the wonders of strawberries, when a package of them came floating down from the heavens. It was only necessary to snack on some, you know for research purposes and all.
An apple and pb later, I was still SO ready for lunch at noon. A slop heap of a salad, which in my opinion always taste better. Don’t judge a book…
Somewhere in that mess is a can of tuna, 1/2 an avocado, salsa, Dijon, and a pickle on the side. If a tuna salad sandwich and a taco salad got drunk and slept together, I’m pretty sure this is what it would look like.
Blame my spring fever, but my salad-lovin game is SUPER strong nowadays. Besides being the easiest healthy meal to throw together, loading them with protein and all the veggies makes them super filling too.
This time with lemon pepper chicken, the last of my roasted asparagus, and what remained of a maple tahini dressing.
A few spoonfuls of Greek yogurt topped with some leftover cereal from my pancake recipe for an impromptu dessert left me satisfied, and ready for bed at approximately 7:45 PM. I just keep living the dream my friends.
